Ripe Banana - use ripe banana for making the pancakes. It adds natural sweetness to the pancakes and act as a egg substitute.

All Purpose Flour - I used plain flour for making this, but I have tried this recipe with whole wheat flour and it works.

Sugar - reduce the amount of sugar if you are going to serve it with syrup.

Milk - for vegans you can use any dairy free milk like almond milk, oat milk or soy milk.

Baking Powder - makes pancakes light and fluffy!

Ground cinnamon - Bananas and cinnamon goes well together so add a dash of cinnamon.

Vanilla Extract - optional but highly recommended.

Butter - use this to fry the pancakes and dollop some over cooked pancakes.

      Hi
I love this recipe. I often use it.
One question though, I mixed up the steps because I was in a hurry and put the baking powder with the mashed banana first and I dont know if it's because of that, that the pancake isnt really rising and it tastes rubbery. Do you know what I can do to fix it. Please help and thank you for your time and assistance.
