My time at UNLV has been an exciting journey filled with the vibrant energy of Las Vegas and the diverse community on campus. I’ve found solace in the modern facilities and cherished the opportunities for collaboration and cultural exchange. The university’s dedication to innovation, reflected in its research endeavors and interdisciplinary programs, has allowed me to explore my passions deeply. Nevertheless, I believe there’s room for improvement. Simplifying administrative processes and improving resource accessibility would streamline campus life. Additionally, fostering a stronger sense of community and inclusivity would enhance the overall student experience. Despite these areas of growth, UNLV has provided me with an environment conducive to personal and academic development, and I eagerly anticipate its continued evolution.

Apparently, if Parking by Phone app is down, you are responsible for it. You will get a ticket, and you will have to pay.
Back in the time, it was easy to communicate with the ticket office that used human sense to judge. Now we have to appeal it. They will waste your time in the middle of the day with inexperienced staff, then proceed to tell you that the 3rd party app is not their responsibility, and we have to suck it up and pay when they are the ones that limit all of the parking lots with their ridiculous excuses and have terrible cellular network in the building.
Since when do we have to be responsible for their app?
Staff attitude was like a 3rd class facility, left such a disgusting taste to alumni. Isabel, who was the judge, and the parking office coordinator, who definitely know each other and are quite familiar with this routine, can seriously go back to being interns and trained again. Seriously, be better.

I had a unique college experience at the University of Nevada Las Vegas because it took place during COVID, so it's kind of hard to judge the college on certain aspects since they had no control over shutting down. However, I think my experience would've been better if my majority of classes weren't online for nearly the entirety of my college career. However, the professors I had were amazing and adapted well to the challenges we were all facing at the time. I do think maybe some different on campus restaurants would be nice, but I will say they tried to keep it diverse with the different foods they offered, but unless you lived on campus and had access to other places to eat, the Student Union was super busy and it would take forever to get food.
