Correctional Unit at about 11 am Tuesday The Virginia State Police said Gerald Bishop 40 and Paul McArthur Baker 29 were on a work detail when they fled in a state owned pick up truck The truck was found late Tuesday on the grounds of the correctional institution but the two men have still not been located Bishop was serving 40 years for first degree murder fol lowing a killing in Lee County and Baker was serving a life sentence following a first degree murder conviction in Allegheny County Va Abingdon Group Upset Over Concept Council Opposes State Report Crime Continued from page 1 ear of
